Technical Account Manager
Location: Multiple
Expected Travel: Work out of home office with some possible overnight travel

Position Overview: Technical Account Manager (TAM) is a highly-technical sales role - applying a deep understanding of engineered material technologies, customer & technical service capabilities, on-going sales and marketing strategies, customer projects and priorities into daily activities directed towards achieving sales goals.
The TAM will be required to balance existing and new account responsibilities – meeting or exceeding individual performance and growth goals for their assigned geographic territory across aerospace, electronics, military and other key industry segments.
Employing consultative value and solution-selling approaches across multiple levels and functions of customer organizations, the TAM will organize, prioritize and plan for the needs of new business initiatives, provide ongoing relationship management, apply internal resources, as well as effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Profile of a Successful Candidate: A technical sales professional offering a solid material and process background with an understanding of materials distribution. The successful candidate will be adept at representing both business and technical sides of the supply relationship, in addition to effectively networking across all levels and functions within customer organizations. Strong background in aerospace and composites manufacturing and materials Technical acumen and ability to quickly learn new technologies and develop application insight Excellent listening, communication and presentation skills Self-motivated and able to thrive in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment Exceptional planning, prioritization and time management skills Adaptability, flexibility and a keen ability to identify opportunity
Position Requirements: Five or more years of composite material and process technology work experience, or equivalent technical material sales Experience with applications that include commercial or military aircraft, rockets, launch vehicles and satellites Effective technical communication skills and experience
Proven track record of successful business development and profitable sales growth Computer literacy - proficiency in the use of MS Windows, e-mail, internet, MS Office, and ACT! (or a similar contact management system). BS degree in engineering or physical science preferred – will consider other education or experience that would support chemical/polymer sales and related services.

Customer Service Representative
Location: Carson, CA
Expected Travel: Less than 10%
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate - commensurate with skills and experience, excellent benefits package
Availability: Immediate
Position Responsibilities: Receive and process E.V. Roberts (EVR) customer inquiries for price quotes, purchase orders, order status, and related information received via phone, fax, website or email. Respond to all customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Review incoming customer quote requests for completeness and accuracy. Contacts customer in a timely manner if additional information or correction is required. Requests written confirmation of all verbal customer orders. Enter buyer quote requests, quotes, purchase orders and other required information into EVR software system and forwards to Purchasing Dept. for processing - communicating special circumstances affecting order requirements. Provide system-generated acknowledgement and/or confirmation of action to customers. Follow-up and communicate with customer to obtain required information and/or special instructions necessary to quote cost and/or fulfill order. Provide quality review of orders from other team members - comparing documentation and verifying purchase order requirements comply with EVR capabilities and manufacturer’s requirements. Process customer reports of product-related issues. Gathers and documents necessary information to explain and validate issue – providing all required information to customer and internal team. Review reporting to ensure that customer commitments will be fulfilled as promised. Contacts customers to inform of all relevant date or price changes – updating the EVR system as required. Work closely with Technical Account Managers as needed on issues regarding ordering and fulfillment processes. Monitors key customer activity and initiates contact to ensure that customer’s order pattern remains consistent or increases. Attend all scheduled department meetings and training sessions. Conduct proactive telemarketing and/or customer relations calls as directed by the Customer Service Manager. Provide phone switchboard coverage as needed or assigned. Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.
Position Requirements: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; some college desirable. Minimum of two years experience in a similar position with direct experience interacting with customers and inputting purchase order data with a high degree of accuracy. Full competence and experience in MS Office Suite Software (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Windows-based computer use. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Well-developed time management and organizational skills.
