Product Information
It is used in absorption naphtha, solvent cleaning, starting fluid blends, carbonless paper solvent, propellants, aluminum rolling oil, lamp oil, insecticides, lacquer thinner, asphalt cut-back, metalworking fluid, foam blowing agent, concrete release agent, and textile lubricant.
It limits C8 and higher aromatics, except ethylbenzene, to not more than 8% by volume, olefins to not more than 5% by volume, and total aromatic plus olefins to not more than 20% by volume. CALUMET 142 Flash Naphtha, Rule 66 is suitable for mineral spirits type II (high flash), HDPPE, LDPPE, copper, vanadium, uranium, boric acid, cotton seed oil, and soy bean oil.
